Ali Nobahar

Ali graduated summa cum laude from York University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Political Science. He received his J.D. degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario thereafter.
Ali is a respected Barrister and Solicitor with several years of practical experience in different areas of law. Ali’s areas of practice include real estate, estates, civil litigation and corporate law amongst others. Outside of the practice of law, Ali’s interests include health and fitness.

Basil founded Helix Law Professional Corporation in 2017, a boutique Toronto, Ontario law firm to help businesses and people navigate the law. Basil Khan then partnered with Ali Nobahar in 2024 and established NOBAHAR KHAN LLP. Basil provides top tier legal advice and representation to businesses and individuals in all principal areas of business law, corporate law, civil litigation, commercial litigation, construction, real estate law, real estate closings, trusts, wills and estates.
Basil fiercely advocates for his clients and represents his clients in all levels of court. Basil has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Tax Court of Canada. Basil has managed a variety of civil matters including professional liability, breach of contract claims, construction disputes, debt collections, real estate disputes, tax disputes, estate disputes, corporate/commercial disputes and shareholder/partnership disputes.
